LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Two men are in jail for allegedly robbing drug stores in Lexington, and part of the evidence could include pictures posted to social media.

18 year-old Cortez Johnson and 20 year-old Cecil Johnson are each charged with first-degree robbery.

Police accuse them of robbing the CVS drugstore on Old Todds Road on January 14, and a CVS on Harrodsburg Road two weeks later.

Police say the two were found running away from the Harrodsburg Road location when they were captured.

When later reviewing Cortez Johnson's social media accounts, police reportedly found pictures of the two wearing the same clothes as the robbers captured on surveillance video, and displaying drugs taken during those robberies.

Both are being held on $20,000 bonds.
