Village in India handles "monkey business" in creative way

A village in northern India came up with a creative way to handle their "monkey business."

Villagers said monkeys would often destroy crops, steal their food and clothes and bite and scratch their children.

Officials only recommended expensive solutions, so some residents in the village took it upon themselves to solve the problem.

Those residents made bear costumes and roamed around the village growling at monkeys in an attempt to scare them away for good.

For now, the odd method is working but the village is still searching for a permanent solution.
