LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — The University of Kentucky released a statement on Friday morning regarding the impact of the global IT outage across their campuses.
This was something unique, as the outage caused problems everywhere within the UK HealthCare system, most notably at UK Chandler Hospital.
"We rely on a lot of technology to do the work we do," Chief Medical Officer at UK Good Samaritan Mark Hoffman said. "We're a big place with a lot of patients and complex health needs."
