LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — A man and woman are facing abuse charges after deputies found drugs within their home.
Deputies went to a home for a welfare check on children. After arriving, they immediately smelled marijuana and also found two plastic bags containing what they believe to be meth and drug paraphernalia within reach of two kids in the home.
Michael Hodge, 43, and Charlie Flores, 29, were arrested and charged with abuse and face possession charges involving meth, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
The children were placed in the care of social services.
