HARDIN COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Police in Hardin County have made an arrest after a man was found dead in his car in a Walmart parking lot.
Officers were called to the Walmart in Radcliffe just after 10 p.m. on Monday for a reported shooting. That is when officers found the victim's body inside of a car.
On Wednesday, the Hardin County Coroner identified the victim as 20-year-old Cornelius Tory from Vine Grove. His cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds.
On Tuesday afternoon, police arrested 21-year-old Kendall Lincoln after a traffic stop.
According to arrest documents, Lincoln shot the victim 8 times with a .45 caliber handgun. He also stole from Tory after the shooting.
In a recorded interview with Radcliff Police Department, Lincoln admitted to these crimes.
He has now been faced with the following charges:
- Murder
- Robbery in the first degree
- Theft by failure to make required disposition of property $10,000 or more
- Probation violation for felony offense
