(LEX 18) — Less than 24 hours before the general election, democratic gubernatorial candidate Andy Beshear pressed hard for voters in Western Kentucky.

Monday morning, he started in Paducah with other statewide democratic candidates, along with his father, former Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear and Democratic House Floor Leader Rocky Adkins. It was the last stretch of their 'Team Kentucky' tour.

The tour made stops in Henderson and Owensboro Sunday.

While in Paducah, Beshear announced a milestone for his campaign saying, "Right here in Paducah, I knocked on the 1,000,000th door of this campaign and here's the good news, she's for us!"

From Paducah, Beshear made stops in Murray, Hopkinsville, Greenville, Franklin, and Bowling Green before wrapping up in Louisville.

The son of Kentucky's last democratic governor has promised pay raises for teachers and better access to healthcare. Beshear is also a big supporter of expanded gambling, unlike his opponent.

Beshear told LEX 18 he plans to hit the voting booth early tomorrow morning with his wife in Louisville.
