LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Local snack brand Spudz Chips has released a new type of popcorn that is co-branded with the University of Kentucky.
The Spudz Caramel Popcorn is exclusive to Kroger stores statewide.
Spudz founder, John Good, said that Kroger is "an industry titan... but one that's so in turn wit hits local communities, and goes avobe and beyond to support local brands."
The new treat was released at select Kroger stores on Friday.
