ANDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Anderson County youth soccer leaders said someone is making a nasty mess at their facility at a local park.
They said a person, or persons, have been urinating and defecating outside of the bathroom at their pavilion.
"There's an issue with people urinating and defecating on the women's bathroom door," said Ryan Wohnhas, who is the president of the Anderson Independent Youth Soccer Association. He also said that it has been going on for years at their pavilion at Anderson County Park.
Fall is supposed to be an exciting time for kids to play soccer, but someone is trying to ruin the fun and it stinks.
"The kids are wanting to do something fun, just got out of summer break," said Wohnhas.
According to Wohnhas, it sometimes happens several times a week and he and other board members are constantly cleaning up.
"I walked up on it once but it was just urine... it kept getting worse... that's when we walked up on anything and everything you can imagine," Wohnhas said.
He said he believes that it may have started because their bathrooms are sometimes locked, but there are others at the park that are always open. He also said that they are now taking action to put an end to this crappy situation.
"We're going to set everything up so there are cameras on every single door around the building. It's also gonna cover the parking lot and the fields," said Wohnhas. "We don't want kids walking up here and walking into that. It's just disrespectful, frustrating. Just something they don't need to be around."
