LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — A Lexington Police Officer was injured at the Lexington Police Canine Facility Wednesday.
The officer was cleaning out a kennel when they were attacked by a police canine. The officer was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The canine was unharmed, and the officer is in stable condition.
