LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Police are investigating a homicide that took place Friday morning in Lexington.
The Lexington Police Department says it happened around 8:20 a.m. on Trade Street, near Leestown Road. When officers got to the scene, they found a male victim in the parking lot suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, and police say the shooter left the scene before officers got there.
The coroner identified the victim as 28-year-old Kristopher Caylin Walker Lewis, who died from multiple gunshot wounds.
