LINCOLN COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — One person is dead after a single-vehicle collision on KY Highway 198 around 7:00 a.m. Thursday in Lincoln County.
According to the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, 19-year-old Jadyn Post suffered fatal injuries after the tractor-trailer she was driving overturned.
The Lincoln County Coroner adds that Post was hauling lumber and, for unknown reasons, ran off the roadway, overcorrected the trailer, and flipped on the opposite side of the road.
Police say the roadway will remain closed for an additional one to two hours for an investigation.
