LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — A victim was shot, a woman was hit by a car and suspects fled a scene all within a matter of minutes early Sunday morning.
The incident took place on the 1500 block of North limestone, which is between Broadview and New Circle.
Police say the unidentified shooter fired multiple shots around 2 a.m. and hit a man who was then taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Immediately following the shooting, a woman running away from the area was hit by a car that also fled the scene. The car, described as a older red Camry, did not stop. The woman struck by the car was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
At least one business and a nearby business were damaged by gunfire.
Police do not have any suspects in neither the shooting or the hit and run.
