RICHMOND, Ky. (LEX 18) — An arrest has been made in connection to the disappearance and murder of Ella Jackson.
On Friday, the Richmond Police Department arrested Glenn Jackson, 39, of Richmond.
Ella Jackson disappeared in October 2019 and has not been seen since. Glenn Jackson, Ella's husband and a former professor at Eastern Kentucky University, originally told police that he last saw his wife on October 20, two days before she was reported missing.
During the investigation, officials learned that Ella met with a domestic violence advocate a few days before she disappeared. Investigators also found a large amount of blood in the trunk of Glenn's vehicle that was later proven to belong to Ella.
Police located several recordings that Ella secretly made of her and her husband's arguments. Ella also told several individuals that she was afraid of her husband, and if anything ever happened to her, her husband would be responsible.
As of Friday night, Ella's remains have not been located.
