Roadway cleared following flipped car near Georgetown Road and Spurr Road

UPDATE: September 4 at 2:50 p.m.

According to police, officers were called to the Georgetown Road at Spurr Road for a two-car injury collision around 12:30 pm. When they arrived on scene, one vehicle was flipped.

Both drivers were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The roadway is now back open.

LEX 18 staff reported that Lexington police are on the scene of a flipped over vehicle near the intersection of Georgetown Road and Spurr Road on Wednesday afternoon.

It is unknown at this time if anyone has been injured in the incident.
