LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) - — Lexington police are investigating a robbery that took place Thursday afternoon at the Central Bank located on Versailles Road.
The robbery occurred just after 11 a.m.
Bank employees stated that an unknown man wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, sunglasses, and a gray cloth over his face ran into the bank demanding cash. A teller complied with the robber's demands. He fled on foot to a vehicle that was waiting for him on Devonport Drive. The vehicle was described by witnesses as a dark-colored passenger car.
