LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — The Lexington Bluegrass Station Post Office has been reopened after a sewer line erupted on Saturday.
According to a press release, there was limited street delivery to the following ZIP codes:
- 40515
- 40517
- 40502
There were also no PO Box mail delivery. Retail window services were also temporarily closed.
"I wouldn't say a terrible experience," said Lexington resident Diana Kinner. "It's just kind of inconvenient and it's kind of cold... running errands and I have child care. I'm not angry, it's just kind of inconvenient."
Customers can find retail services at other Lexington locations here.
An announcement made on Tuesday announced that the post office had reopened after the sewer lines were repaired and the facility was cleaned.
