MADISON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Five people have been taken to the hospital after an incident involving pool chemicals in Madison County.
Multiple units responded to the scene at Short Line Pike in Berea. Emergency officials at the scene tell us pool chemicals were being mixed inside a home, and they were exposed to some sort of reaction from the chemicals.
The conditions of those taken to the hospital are not known at this time.
