(LEX 18) – For the first time since allegations of sexual abuse were made public, actor Kevin Spacey posted a video as his character from the Netflix series ‘House of Cards’ appearing to address the accusations.
The video was posted after news broke that Spacey would face a charge of indecent assault and battery on allegations he sexually assaulted the teenage son of a Boston television anchor in a Nantucket restaurant.
The actor was fired from the show last year after allegations of inappropriate behavior began surfacing during the height of the #MeToo movement.
The video, entitled “Let me be Frank” features Spacey as his Frank Underwood character.
“I know what you want … you want me back,” Spacey says, promising, “We’re not done no matter what anyone says.”
November of 2017, Spacey went into treatment after several people accused the actor of sexual misconduct.
