LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes said she is expecting about 1 million people to show up at the polls on Tuesday.
That is about 31 percent of Kentucky's 3.5 million registered voters.
Grimes and her office based the prediction on the absentee ballot totals.
Officials said if the prediction proves correct, the voter total would slightly edge out the 2015 general election, when 30.7 percent of registered voters turned out.
If you find any problems at the polls on Tuesday, the attorney general's office wants to hear from you.
If you think you saw any election laws broken or suspect voter fraud, you are asked to report it to the Election Law Violations Hotline at 800-328-VOTE.
