GEORGETOWN, Ky. (LEX 18) — Georgetown police are investigating an overnight shooting that sent one person to the hospital with minor injuries.
Police said the victim exited I-75 northbound and was turning left onto Paris Pike when another vehicle pulled up beside him and opened fire.
The victim was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound but has already been released, police said.
Investigators do not have a suspect or vehicle description at this time, other than the suspect was driving a passenger car.
