LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — One woman is dead and multiple people are in the hospital following an overnight shooting in Lexington.
According to the Fayette County Coroner's Office, the victim was 20-year-old Madilyn Taylor Grisham.
The Office has ruled her death a homicide.
Lexington Police said an officer went to Payne Street off of Newtown Pike around 2 a.m. Sunday morning. When they arrived, they found three people, including Grisham, who had been shot.
Police say a 34-year-old victim and a 22-year-old victim have critical injuries. As of Sunday night, police say one victim is still in the hospital.
