LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Lexington Police Department is investigating a homicide on Whitney Avenue.
The Fayette County Coroner's Office identified 31-year-old Stacey Marshall as the victim.
Police tell us officers were called out at 12:36 a.m. Thursday for a reported shooting with a possible victim.
When officers arrived on scene, they found Marshall outside with a gunshot wound.
He was taken to the hospital where he died.
His death has been ruled as a homicide.
The incident is ongoing and police ask anyone with information to contact them.
