Louisville Man accused of shooting up business where ex-girlfriend works

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A man is accused of shooting up a Louisville restaurant where his ex-girlfriend works.

According to WDRB, Bradley Knebel is in jail after police say he shot up the Kayrouz Cafe off Breckenridge Lane in Louisville. The shooting took place Saturday morning at 2 a.m. The Louisville television station reports that Knebel's car was caught at the scene on surveillance footage. Police say someone inside the car fired nine shots into the restaurant.

One shot nearly struck a worker inside the business.

Knebel was confronted by police and allegedly admitted to the crime. He also allowed police to examine the vehicle and seize the weapon.

Knebel is charged with first-degree wanton endangerment and first-degree criminal mischief. He is currently being held in Louisville Metro Corrections.
