Lexington Police Department investigating Friday morning Chase Bank robbery

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — The Lexington Police Department is looking for a man accused of robbing a Chase Bank Friday morning.

Police say it happened at around 10:10 a.m. Friday at the Chase Bank located at 2260 Nicholasville Road (Zandale Shopping Center). A bank employee told police that a man entered the lobby and presented a note which stated he was armed with a gun and demanded cash. The bank teller complied with the suspect, gave him money, and he left the bank.

The suspect was described as a white man approximately 5' 10" tall with a slim build. He was wearing a black hooded jacket, a medical-type face mask, and gray athletic pants.
