Lexington couple arrested in Missouri after K9 finds 10 pounds of meth valued at $453,000

CALLAWAY COUNTY, Mo. (LEX 18) — Two people from Lexington have been arrested in Missouri after a K9 helps find 10 pounds of methamphetamine valued at $453,000.

27-year-old Amber Collins and 31-year-old Jonathan Mackey were arrested on I-70 Tuesday for trafficking drugs.

The Callaway County, Missouri Sheriff's Office said K9 Krieger assisted the Missouri State Highway Patrol with the investigation.

Mackey is a former Scott County State Champion basketball star and one-time Indiana commit.

Both Collins and Mackey are being held at the Callaway County Jail without bond.
