Laurel County murder suspect arrested after police standoff

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — The Laurel County Sheriff's Office says a person who they believe are involved in the Sunday shooting death of 32-year-old Jeremy Caldwell has been arrested.

Robert Brandon Gray, 39, of Keavy, Ky., was arrested at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday 10 miles southwest of London at a relative's home following a standoff with police. No one was injured.

Police are still looking for Ashley B. Lewis, 30, of East Bernstadt, Ky. She is wanted for complicity to commit murder.

Officers say the shooting occurred at 2 p.m. Sunday off Highway 490 at Highway 1376 in a business parking lot about five miles north of London.

Police said Gray fled the scene after the shooting and drove southbound on Highway 490 toward London.
