LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Lexington police are confident surveillance images from a local business will help them nab a couple of thieves.
It won’t be hard to recognize these two men if they’ve done work on your home. They say the men stole a fiberglass door valued at $6,000.
“It’s somebody that we think is probably going to be a builder out in the public, or a general contractor that somebody may recognize,” Detective Mark Thomas told LEX 18.
Management told police they didn’t recognize these two door capers, so this wasn’t an inside job. They think it was likely two people who had inside information.
“This may be somewhere they’ve gotten things before? But, we do believe whoever went back there would’ve known this is something that would’ve been readily available to them and they’d have been able to take it,” said Thomas.
