LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — A Lexington Police Department sergeant was injured in a crash Monday evening.
Around 5:38 p.m., police responded to the intersection of Richmond Road and Man O War for a crash. The sergeant was on the way to a call with lights and sirens on when they were hit by a car.
The sergeant and one person from the other car were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
This is an ongoing investigation. Richmond Road and Man O War are both back open after being shut down for a few hours.
