KSP investigating Boyle County crash

PERRYVILLE, Ky. (LEX 18) — Kentucky State Police are investigating a crash that happened on January 11 around 7:30 p.m. in Boyle County.

According to KSP, a Nissan Maxima was driving recklessly on West Main Street, passing multiple vehicles at a high speed.

KSP says they activated their emergency equipment and attempted to stop the vehicle, but it continued driving west on Perryville Road.

The driver of the vehicle lost control near the intersection of KY 68 after striking the back of a Freightliner. KSP says the vehicle overturned on its passenger side at the intersection of US 150 and HWY 1920 in Perryville.

According to KSP, the driver of the vehicle, 20-year-old Jason Epps, and the passenger, 19-year-old Trveze Page, were both transported to Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Freightliner, 36-year-old Matthew Stephens, was also taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
