LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Police in Lexington were looking for three women wanted in an assault and robbery attempt early Monday morning on the city's southeast side.
Authorities said the incident happened about 2:30 a.m. on Pimlico Parkway.
Police tell LEX 18 that a female victim was walking down the street when she was approached by three assailants.
The victim told police one suspect punched her in the face and demanded money.
The suspects ran off without taking anything, officials said.
The victim was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries.
