LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — A fugitive from Tennessee has been charged with human trafficking after police said she transported a woman from Knoxville to Lexington to meet with clients for the purpose of sex trafficking.
Savannah Gribanow was arrested Monday after police said she set up "dates" for the victim in town. Gribanow is accused of also keeping all the proceeds from the victim's trafficking.
An arrest citation stated that Gribanow gave the victim a constant supply of drugs to keep her compliant during the encounters.
Gribanow has been faced with charges of human trafficking, promoting human trafficking, receiving stolen property, being a fugitive from another state and tampering with physical evidence.
She has been lodged in the Fayette County Detention Center.
