GEORGETOWN, Ky. (LEX 18) — On Tuesday, the Scott County Board of Education decided that Scott County Schools will return to 5-day in person instruction for grades K-12 beginning Wednesday, January 27.
Scott County will receive the first round of vaccinations on Tuesday, January 26.
The Scott County Board of Education made this decision at their meeting on Tuesday fully in support of returning to school in person and feeling encouraged by the availability of vaccines for staff. Virtual learning will still be an option for families who choose it.
Beginning January 27, meal distribution for virtual students will occur weekly on Wednesdays from 9:30-10:30am. Pick up will be available at all school sites except ECS and Scott County Preschool.
