Report: Knott County juvenile may have been killed by animal

KNOTT COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Kentucky State Police were investigating the death of a juvenile in Knott County as a possible animal attack, according to a report.

A KSP spokesman said the juvenile was found dead Tuesday in a wooded area in the Emmalena community.

The trooper said investigators believe an animal, possibly a dog, might have been involved in the death. The juvenile's identity was not immediately released.

The death remains under investigation.
