(LEX 18) — State Representative "Bam" Carney is in the ICU after suffering from a case of pancreatitis.
According to family members, John "Bam" Carney was hospitalized after getting ill Wednesday.
Carney's brother wrote that "Bam" became very sick after eating Christmas lunch with family. He assumed it was a virus but doctors quickly discovered that the ailment was much more serious.
The legislator underwent two surgeries and is recovering in ICU.
