LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — One person was taken to the hospital following a shooting in Lexington.
The incident occurred just after 4:30 p.m. Saturday. According to Lexington police, officers were dispatched for reports of a shooting. The victim had run from the Bryan Station Inn to the nearby Burger Shake restaurant after he was shot.
Police say the shooter called them saying he had shot someone.
The man who was shot was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
