LONDON, Ky. (LEX 18) — A London man was arrested Friday morning after police said he beat a pregnant woman so severely she miscarried a 10-week-old fetus.
The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office said Freddy T. Humfleet, 44, is charged with fetal homicide, assault, strangulation and meth possession.
Police said Humfleet hit the woman with a wooden board, choked her, and punched her, leaving her with cuts and severe bruising.
He is being held at the Laurel County Correctional Center.
