LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Police in Laurel County arrested a man who they say lead officers on a chase that ended in a fiery crash.
The Laurel County Sheriff's Department said Mickey Grubb was arrested abou 3:30 p.m. Thursday after crashing on Kentucky Highway 1223.
Authorities said deputies had tried to pull Grubb over in London but he fled. After the arrest, police said they discovered that Grubb also reportedly nearly hit a deputy with his car earlier in the day.
Grubb was facing multiple charges. He was being held in the Laurel County Detention Center.
