LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Investigators are asking the public to contact the Lexington Police Department with information pertaining to the Mykel Waide homicide case.
Waide, 18, of Lexington, was the victimof a deadly shooting on the 1000 block of Newtown Court early Sunday morning.
There are no suspects in custody.
Waide is a 2020 graduate of Tates Creek High School. He was accepted into the University of Louisville. His first day of college would have been Monday.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact LPD at 859-258-3600.
