NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (LEX 18) — An investigation is underway in Jessamine County after police fatally shot a man Wednesday night.
Authorities said the shooting occurred about 11:30 p.m. on Beauford Place in Nicholasville.
The Jessamine County coroner said a 27-year-old James Crowe was killed.
Officials tell LEX 18 that the Kentucky State Police's Critical Response Team will handle the investigation.
Neighbors tell LEX 18 that Crowe was a quiet man who normally wouldn't stir up trouble.
