MONTICELLO, Ky. (LEX 18) — The Monticello Police Department reports that multiple streets are closed due to high water after several inches of rain in the past day.
A post from the department on social media says Mockingbird Lane, Hummingbird Lane, Asbury Road and Country Club Road are impassable.
The department asks drivers to avoid these areas and not to attempt to drive through flooded areas.
