LOUISVILLE, Ky (LEX 18/ WAVE 3) — The man who harassed a reporter on live television has been charged.

It happened last Friday during The Bourbon and Beyond Festival. WAVE 3 News reporter Sara Rivest was reporting live when someone she didn't know pretended to smack her rear end, then returned and kissed her on the cheek. The man has been identified as 42-year-old Eric Goodman. He's been charged with harassment with physical contact, a misdemeanor.

Goodman has written an apology letter to Rivest. He is scheduled to be in court on November 6.

You can read Goodman's apology here. Rivest said, “I absolutely accept Eric’s apology. I truly believe he feels bad and is sincere. Actions, though, have consequences and from that letter it seems like he, too, knows that he needs to face those consequences, so I also agree with the Commonwealth’s decision to charge him.”
