LONDON, Ky. (LEX 18) — A man has been arrested and charged with murder after a body was found at Levi Jackson Park earlier this week.
London Police say shortly after 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, officers were dispatched to the park after a man's body found near the park's amphitheater. The medical examiner determined that the death of 53-year-old James L. Mays, of Lexington, was a homicide.
On Thursday, London Police say they connected 42-year-old Edward D. Brewer, of Lexington, Ky. to the homicide. Brewer was arrested and charged with murder.
Brewer was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
