KNOX COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Kentucky State Police arrested a man in Knox County who they accuse of shooting another man Saturday night.
Authorities said the shooting took place about 8 p.m. on Hazel Fork Road in the Gray community.
Troopers said Dennis Medlin shot Joe Elliott between the neck and arm.
Elliott was flown to the University of Kentucky Medical Center as was expected to survive, officials said.
Medlin was charged with first-degree assault.
