GEORGETOWN, Ky. (LEX 18) — Police in Georgetown arrested a man early Thursday who they accused of burglarizing Georgetown Middle School.
Authorities said detectives arrested Braydon Bays of Georgetown after investigating an overnight burglary at the school building.
Police said officers worked with school staffers "to ensure the school was safe for students" before classes commenced Thursday morning.
Bays was charged with one count of burglary and theft, police said.
