RICHMOND, Ky. (LEX 18) — A Lexington man is in jail after police say he offered samples of heroin at a Richmond McDonald's.
Randolph Eason, 26, and another unidentified subject were offering free samples of heroin and fentanyl inside the restaurant. Multiple patrons contacted law enforcement.
Eason had an active warrant and attempted to flee when stopped by authorities, police confirm. A .9mm handgun and a large amount of cash was also discovered on his person.
Eason told the arresting officers that he knew nothing about the suspected drugs or the money in the vehicle.
He was transported to the Madison County Detention Center, where he was charged with Trafficking in Controlled Substance (Heroin), Resisting Arrest, and Fleeing or Evading Police 2nd Degree.
