Police continue search for missing woman from Michigan

Police say that they are continuing the search for a missing woman whose car was found in Lexington in the Athens Boonesboro area.

Update: Dec. 4 at 10:20 p.m.

The missing woman, according to her close friends, Toni Ilkka and Sydnie Cook, is 60-year-old Julie Eddy from Michigan.

Ilkka and Cook say that they have not heard from her since Nov. 26, when she said she was leaving Michigan and heading to Florida.

Eddy is described as being five foot seven inches and weighing 145 pounds with long brown hair and brown eyes.

They say that she often wears a baseball hat and they say that she had very little cash on her and no credit cards.

The Lexington Police Department says that a vehicle was found near the Lexington soccer stadium on Athens Boonesboro Road.

You are asked to call police if you have any information on her whereabouts.

Officials reported that Lexington fire crews are searching for a missing woman near Athens Boonesboro Road on Wednesday afternoon.

According to officials, a vehicle linked to an out-of-state missing person's report was located in the area.
