Miyako Sushi and Steak House released a statement on social media Tuesday following a fire in which the restaurant said that it will be closed until further notice due to extensive damage.
“Our management and staff are devastated after enduring a fire within the restaurant today. We are beyond grateful that not a single person was injured in this tragedy,” the post says.
The post mentions that the restaurant has been in business in Lexington for 25 years this year.

The Lexington Fire Department, along with additional emergency personnel are at a scene at Miyoka Sushi & Grill as of 4 p.m. Tuesday.
