WASHINGTON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Kentucky State Police say that a charges are being sought against a juvenile suspect for a Washington County murder.
On Tuesday, KSP and the Washington County Sheriff's Department responded to Mount Zion Road in reference to a dead male found in an abandoned building.
KSP said the victim was shot three times and then set on fire. An autopsy was performed and dental records confirmed the identity of the victim as 18-year-old Joseph Davidson, of Upton.
Charges are being sought against the suspect for murder, tampering with physical evidence, and abuse of a corpse. State Police have not released any information on the suspect.
The investigation is ongoing.
