RICHMOND, Ky. (LEX 18) — Friday is the opening ceremony for the 2022 Special Olympics Kentucky State Summer Games.
More than 900 athletes will be at Eastern Kentucky University's campus competing. This year's games are special because they will be the first full games since 2019.
The opening ceremony is at 6 p.m. on Friday and the competition starts with Bocee Swimming and Track.
