(LEX 18) — As many communities are observing Holocaust Remembrance Day 80 years after the liberation of Auschwitz by Soviet troops, Governor Andy Beshear is also remembering the anniversary.

Beshear released the following statement on X:

Today we remember the millions of Jewish men, women and children murdered and persecuted in the Holocaust. May we recommit ourselves to standing against hate and ensuring a better world for all. #HolocaustRemembranceDay
